REMOTE_HOST & REMOTE_ADDRESS

How do I configure the cache (squid-1.0.1) to get the real REMOTE_HOST and
REMOTE_ADDRESS from the httpd server (ncsa-1.5.2) ?
With my current config I always get the cache hostname and IP address
