See squid.conf (or squid.conf.default if you have upgraded from earlier
Squid releases). It contains suitable examples of refresh_patterns to
enable caching of FTP and Gopher objects.

refresh_pattern ^ftp: 1440 20% 10080
refresh_pattern ^gopher: 1440 0% 1440
