[SQU] jesred & redirects

Dear all fellow squid users

Has anyone been able to get Jesred to work as a re-write redirect,
where one URL is rewritten with another when it is encounted and then
that new URL is sent to squid. I've read the faq on redirects and wonder
if anyone has used jesred successfully.
