Re: Problem of Squid on Linux Redhat 6.2

Henrik,

I change VGA Card and NIC (probably the source of problem) then I
re-installed all SW of the machine. Now, I reduce the Cache size to be 3 GB,
but cache memory is still at 80 MB. And I run the Linux in TEXT mode to get
better performance and giving resource to Squid. The server is totally
dedicated for Squid, no more application. Squid itself is set to cache HTTP
only. The X is not necessary.

I will monitor the progress. However, should I apply some patch for Linux
6.2 with kernel 2.2.14? I think because of I run ONLY ONE application, I did
not need to patch the Linux. It seems all of the Squid patch is not
necessary for my system because of it simplicity
