[SQU] Squid 2.3 - STABLE 4 on OpenBSD 2.8

Hello, I've looked everywhere through the mail archives and any other
resources I can get a hold of but cannot find the appropriate fix. I am
trying to run Squid 2.3 -STABLE 4 on OpenBSD 2.8, complied with gcc 2.95.3.
 
Upon sending an HTTP request to the proxy, squid immediately restarts with a

 
FATAL :Recieved Segment Violation.. dying.
 
without a clue as to why the service shut down in the first place. This
happens with every single request sent to the server.
 
I installed using the basic
 
./configure
make
make install
 
I did not us any addition configure flags.
 
If anyone has any info regarding this issue, please help me out..
