Hi,
We're looking at different architectures for transparent caching.
In your experience, what are the pros and cons of using WCCP vs a L4 switch?
Assume you could build a network from scratch.
So far I see, in favor of:
- WCCP - cache actively tells router/switch that it is up
- L4 switch - can load balance based on URL (on Foundry)
