I guess it was 3 years ago, i had a Squid proxy (running Linux), and never
rotated the logs. After a while, i noticed very high system load, and
slowness. The Squid logs were some hundred MB each. After killing the big
files, the system load immediately decreased to a much lower value. So, i'm
pretty sure that the size of the logs was the problem.
