By making sure that they use different
configuration files (-f command line option)
cache_dir locations
access_log locations
store_log locations
pid_file loations
http_port settings
tcp_outgoing_address settings
either have ICP disabled, or use different udp_incoming_address
settings
And if the two are peering then they must use different unique_hostname
settings.
