[SQU] Squid, GCC 2.95 and OpenBSD

Hello fellow Squid-ers,

I just want to comment about a short thread I read about OpenBSD and Squid
entitled "Squid 2.3 - STABLE 4 on OpenBSD 2.8" where 2 people suggested to
the user that they use the GCC 2.95 optimization bug workaround patch.
Well it's quite obvious that these 2 people did not actually *read* the
persons e-mail to the fullest otherwise they would have clued in that the
patch would not help that person as it is, the patch only matches for
GCC 2.95.1 and GCC 2.95.2. OpenBSD 2.8 ships with a snapshot along the
2.95 branch and identifies itself as 2.95.3 thus the patch is useless and
people compiling even the latest 2.3-STABLE release will still have a
broken binary.

The other thing I wanted to comment on was the fact that I have 2.95.3
test2 running here and Squid sucessfully compiles with optimization (even
on rfc1035.c which is the root of the problem) and does not Seg fault.
