No. What is in 2.8-RELEASE and -current as of now is a snapshot.

% cc -v
Reading specs from /usr/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-unknown-openbsd2.8/2.95.3/specs
gcc version 2.95.3 19991030 (prerelease)

We are currently testing out GCC 2.95.3 test2 on our various archs and so
far so good.
