Hi,
The following command flags are valid:
to start squid:
squid
to stop squid:
squid -k shutdown
to reload squid:
squid -k reload
to reconfigure squid:
squid -k reconfigure
As far as re-building and wiping the cache is
concerned. I would suggest that you rename your root
cache dir (i.e. /var/squid/cache) to /var/squid/cache2
and then issue the command:
squid -z
to rebuild the new cache folder. Then delete the
re-named cache.
