This is possible if you are using IE 4 or later.

You can use the NTLM patch and the ntlm_auth module for authentication.
This module compares the username, password, and domain with the domain
controller you specify in squid.conf. You need to setup ACL's for allowed
or denied users, and create corresponding http_access statements to fit your
needs.

I'm currently using the NTLM patch to block access for specific domain
accounts. It's also useful because it puts "domain\userid" in access.log so
you know who your abusers are.

Look at past emails to the list for more help setting this up.
