Hi List,
Just stumbled about a really weird one! I couldn't find anything in the
archives so far :-(
Try this:
- Open IE5 using Squid (2.3 Stable2) as FTP proxy with IE folder view
(FTP) disabled
- Enter a FTP URL to a site using MS IIS 5.0, i.e.
ftp://ftp.microsoft.com or ftp://ftp.asuscom.de - the Squid-generated
directory structure should appear normally
- Now click on a subdirectory, i.e. "bussys" - ..... nothing, nada, just
a white screen after some longer timeout, no error messages, just a
normal looking entry after the timeout in Squid's access.log!
Try the same now using Netscape - works fine as usual!
Can anyone reproduce this phenomenon in his environment?
What's going on here? Any remedies?
Thanks a lot in advance,
Eric
