[SQU] Squid 2.3 and NTLM

Hi.

Is there any simple and safe way to include ntlm support in the current stable version (2.3-STABLE\d) of squid?
Neither the "ntlm" tagged files from the CVS repository nor the patch from the projects info page will compile cleanly.

Or will I have to wait for 2.5 to be released in order to get a stable version with ntlm support?
