[SQU] Dial pad

Perhaps I am a little on the wrong list with my question, but anyway:
I use to telefon with the United States through "Dial-Pad", a site on the
Internet which allows to dial a telefon. If I use Dial-Pad directly, everythink
is OK. If I go to the site through a proxy using Squid, I get the site but
cannot connect to the telefon. I am aware, that the problem very much likely is
a dial pad one. But I would inspite like to ask, if this could also be squid
"inherent". Can you give me some hints ?
