Re: [squid-users] setup squid errors

Check your squid.conf setting for cache_dir syntax and that
the directory you designate actually exists, and squid
can write to it:

For example -

        cache_dir ufs /usr/local/squid/cache 100 16 256

Where /usr/local/squid/cache is the designated directory, and
should be writable by the squid process.
