Hello, I m using squid 2.3stable4 on linux 7.0. I m using Accelerator mode in squid. Now I want to give http popup messages to all 300 mix clients who are using my squid. Means if i want to send message like " RIGHT NOW SPEED IS VERY SLOW. " And if Client type in its ie www.yahoo.com or www.aol.com or www.xyz.xyz then he will receive this message in html format. I m using ipchains. and only one in input. and that is /sbin/ipchain -A input -p tcp -s 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 -d 0.0.0.0/0.0.0.0 --destination-port http -j REDIRECT 8080. now for broadcast message, i change port 8080 to something else (for limited time) . then it is possible to send message to every client. but i confiuse about which port to i have to redirect to. If squid has any built in utility to do this kind of work then plz tell me that one. If you understand my sinario then Plz help me. THANKS IN ADVANCE Yours faithfully, Nehal.....:)
