I'm using squid 2.4stable3 on a slackware linux 8 running kernel 2.4.16 / reiserfs and diskd
I start squid running the command :
/bin/su squid -c /usr/squid/bin/squid -d 1 -D
and it starts correctly and works good.
when i schedule a rotate or reconfigure by the same user, or by the user root it stops working... but the squid process is up and it accept incoming connection... but no outbound connection is done by the cache...
also... if i kill squid by kill -9 and restart, it continue to accept connection but none is served by the cache....
suggestion ???
