greetings all,

why would squid be returning this error:

=======================================
HTTP/1.0 503 Service Unavailable
Server: Squid/2.4.STABLE6
Mime-Version: 1.0
Date: Fri, 02 May 2003 01:31:04 GMT
Content-Type: text/html
Content-Length: 1918
Expires: Fri, 02 May 2003 01:31:04 GMT
X-Squid-Error: ERR_ZERO_SIZE_OBJECT 0
=======================================

when I know for a fact that the service is available? is there something
in the .conf file that would be blocking? I'm also interested in the
"ERR_ZERO_SIZE_OBJECT 0" line as well.

Here is a snippet of what we send out (irrelevant bits cut out):

=======================================
GET http://[address:port]/[our command string] HTTP/1.1
Host: [address:port]
cache-Control: no-cache
Connection: Keep-Alive
Proxy-Authorization:Basic user:password
=======================================
