[squid-users] What does --enable-ntlm-fail-open do?

Hello!

I've been hunting, but I can't find any extra info on the --enable-ntlm-fail-open configure argument.

What needs to be setup in the squid.conf to enable this behaviour?

This has been asked before:
http://www.squid-cache.org/mail-archive/squid-users/200512/0328.html

But there was no answer.

./configure says

"A helper that fails one of the Authentication steps can allow squid to still authenticate the user."

Does this mean that I'll try ntlm auth, but even if it fails I'll let you through anyway?

I too desire this behaviour!
