hello... guys, so what's the solution to my *original* question? :) how
will i configure the squids of four different levels?
o 64K to local ISP (my network)
- users are connected via the ethernet network
- planning to put up internal FDDI backbone inside the campus
- runs squid 1.0.17
o from local ISP to switching network is 128K
- has 2 64K leased line clients. one 64K leased line client
has 8 dialup 28800 lines
- local ISP has 16 dialup lines
- runs squid 1.0.17
o 256K from switching network to mother ISP
- switching network has internal ethernet network
- has one 128K leased line client and 5 64K leased
line clients
- has 100+ dialup 28800 lines
- runs squid 1.0.17
o 512 to MCI from mother ISP
- has multiple connections from different parts of
the country from franchisees ranging from 64K to 128K
- has 200+ dialup lines
- runs CERN (??? -- i need to convince them to use
squid although they're still testing squid)
