[SQU] Solaris 8 2.4devel compile errors

/lib -lcrypt -lmiscutil -lm -lresolv -lsocket -lnsl
gcc: fs/.a: No such file or directory
gcc: repl/.a: No such file or directory
make[1]: *** [squid] Error 1

make: *** [all] Error 1

...What is the trick to get squid to compile under solaris 8 sparc via gcc?
2.95.2

The configure runs fine and I issued no compile time arguements....

Any thoughts?
