[squid-users] Squid on Solaris 8

G'day folks,

One of my clients has asked me to rebuild one of their Squid servers
after its external disk pack failed. They've (wisely) decided to
take the opportunity to upgrade to 2.4STABLE2 and Solaris 8.

My questions are:
        The Solaris 8 docs say that the "rd_lim" variables are
        dynamic. Do they have to be manually set in /etc/system
        before running squid's Configure script?

        Secondly, what experiences have people had with async-io under
        Solaris 8?

Any pointers would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
